Working for over 20 years for credible fast paced commercial companies has enabled me to gain valuable and essential work and life skills. I started my career initially in account management, working through to managerial roles which also incorporated training, coaching and mentoring the teams I was responsible for.

It was through this time that I developed my expertise and skills in focussing on the enhancement of an individual's performance through facilitating small changes in behaviours and habits.

I now practice as a Clinical Hypnotherapist with the following qualifications and registrations:

  • Diploma in Hypnotherapy
  • Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner
  • Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Certified Smoking Cessation Specialist
  • Certification from the GHSC
  • General Hypnotherapy Register GHR
  • General Hypnotherapy Standards Council GHSC
  • Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council C&NHC
  •   (Department of Health approved)
  • Hypnotherapist Register HypReg

Due to an increase in support required for younger clients, we have recently developed a dedicated website to highlight the services that we use to help younger people with specific challenges.  These include anxiety, confidence, stress - please find more detail on

During the initial telephone contact, it is important that as much information is gained as possible as to why you wish to make the appointment and what you are hoping to achieve with hypnotherapy.  Following this initial conversation, if we feel that hypnotherapy is a viable option then we will make a convenient appointment for a face to face consultation.

The first consultation will generally consist of two parts.  Firstly, it is important to gain an understanding of your medical history and to confirm relevant information to ensure that the correct treatment method is taken to move forward.  The next step will be to conduct the relevant first treatment.

This first appointment is likely to be up to 90 minutes with subsequent sessions likely to take around 60 minutes each.

All questions are welcome at this stage and throughout; this is your time, so it is important that you gain clarity where necessary and feel comfortable with all aspects of the sessions.

There are no set number of sessions; this is down to each individual case and a mutual agreement.  To give you an idea what to expect, most clients will undertake between 3 and 6 sessions depending on their needs.  However, for a non-smoking session, this can be one session which lasts approximately 2 hours.

Many thanks for taking the time to read the above; if you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to contact us.
